Hi, I'm Melissa Brabham (Braab-bum) and I identify as a cisgender Black woman and Momma, transplanted from Long Island NY. I'm currently licensed as Professional Counselor Associate and hold a Master's Degree in Counseling from Portland State University, with a professional emphasis in serving youth and employing techniques rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy.

Over the last seven years I have worked in public education as a School Counselor and recently as a Truama-Focused therapist in the greater Portland area. Which has allowed me to have a unique and rich background serving clients who face a range of lived experiences and outcomes. When working with clients, I'm aim for authenticity in all that I bring into the room, building trust, and exploring the intersections of you - which can feel messy and vulnerable. I got you! Outside of work, you can find me with me with family or pursuing all the good feels that life has to offer.
