Meet Stephanie

Stephanie Harris (she/her)

Professional Counselor Associate

__

Hey! Iā€™m Stephanie, a Black Biracial woman raised in rural Oregon. I deeply understand that surrounding yourself with an empowering community promotes a sense of belonging, safety and space for healing. I believe that our relationships are central to our well-being. Healthy connections with friends, family, and the natural world are essential for fostering a sense of connectedness and wellness. I acknowledge that historical trauma can significantly impact our health, which is why recognizing and honoring our ancestors is a necessary part of healing.

Our environment and cultural context significantly influences our experience. In therapy, I aim to offer a safe environment to explore aspects of yourself and patterns of behavior that may or may not be serving you. Together, we will address and dismantle both internal and external barriers to healing. My approach blends mindfulness, somatic practices, ecotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. At this time, I am solely working with youth and young adults, ages 10 - 25.

I am committed to meeting you where you are, listening empathetically and validating your experiences. The counseling process is collaborative and will allow us to set goals that can bring you towards becoming your most authentic and healthy self. Whether navigating anxiety, depression, stress, identity development, grief / loss, or relationship issues, my intention is to empower and support you as you pursue your desired goals.

If this resonates with you, please reach out to get connected.
